Celeb: Tyra, J-Lo
You are a curvy beauty. Your hips and bust are close in size. Your upper body and legs are about the same height.
*Accentuating your curves, while showing that defined waist are best.
The right look for you:
A-line dress or skirt
Wrap-dress
V-neck
Fitted button-down blouse
Crop-tops
Synched waist
High waist jeans, trousers, skirts
Not the right look:
Baggy shirts, pants, or dresses
Baby-doll dresses
Empire waist
Pear-shape (also known as Triangle)

Celeb: Kim Khardashian, Beyonce
A triangle body typically has a smaller upper body. Hips and thighs are wider than bust.
*Accentuating your waist, while adding some volume to your bust is best.
The right look for you:
-Strapless shirts and dresses
-Off the shoulder shirts and dresses
-V-neck
-A-line
-Belted dress
-Dark coloured bottoms
-Flare pants
Not the right look for you:
-Oversized shapeless tops and dresses.
-Poofy skirts
-Curvy hugging bottoms
Athletic (Inverted Triangle)

An athletic build has shoulders. Hips can be narrow compared to shoulders. Some athletic body types can be busty, some are not.
Celeb: Cameron Diaz, Jessica Biel
The right look for you:
-Halter tops
-Racer backs
-U-necks and V-necks
-A-line
-Dresses are flexible
Opt for a more feminine shape
-Cinched mid-section
Not the right look for you:
-Short hemlines
-Stretchy fabric
-Spaghetti straps
-Box-shaped shirts or dresses
-If busty, avoid ruffly details around the bust
Apple (or Round)

An apple body carries weight in the midsection. Sometimes shorter, with an undefined waistline.
Celebs: Oprah, Adele
The right look for you:
-A-line
-Boyfriend button up
-V-neck
-Maxi dress with low cut neck
-Wrap dress
-Skinny jeans
-Flare jeans with heels
Not the right look you:
-Horizontal stripes can give an illusion of width
-Avoid things that fit the waist poorly
-Baggy clothes
Go with your gut. If you put something on and it just feels wrong… try something else.
