Spicy Pear Smoothie

Yield: 2 servings | Prep time: 5 minutes

  • 1 banana
  • 1 green apple, cored + chopped
  • 1 pear, cored + chopped
  • 1 C. spinach
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1/2 pineapple, cored + chopped (remove skin)
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 bunch of cilantro
  • 2 dates (pitted)
  • 1 C. water
  1. Blend until smooth.
  2. Enjoy!

This spicy treat is satisfying and delicious. Pineapple contains bromelain, which supports digestion. This fibre-rich smoothie will have your GI tract doing the salsa dance.
